Lake Region TV was founded as a non-profit corporation in the fall of 1992 and has grown to serve 12 Western Maine communities on three access channels. Many of its programs involve the videotaping of community events and concerts utilizing its field production truck which can handle up to 5 camera productions with extensive audio capabilities. The center hired its first full time paid manager in August of 2005.
