"The Second Act" is a community television show produced by and for Mainers in the second half of life. A pilot show was produced last November and monthly production began in January. Jeffrey Roberts of South Portland and Susan Hirsch of Raymond host the show. A new thirty minute show will run each month.
"The Second Act" airs April 17, 24 and May 1 at 1 and 6 a.m. and 1 and 6 p.m. on the Community Television Network. Several other community television stations in Maine also air the program, including South Portland Community Television Channel 2.
Sponsored by AARP Maine and the Community Television Network, with support from the Southern Maine Area Agency on Aging and the Community Television Association of Maine, the Second act is plan and produced by a crew of volunteers.
